The MyRDguide Course includes 20 domain lectures, each lasting about an hour. To make the most of each lecture, we recommend spending 2 hours for initial study and an additional hour for review. Most students complete 3-4 sessions per week, finishing the course in about seven weeks. However, you can adjust this pace based on your schedule and other commitments.
If you enroll in our Pro or Premium Coaching Program, a MyRDguide tutor will conduct an initial planning session to create a personalized study plan tailored to your needs.
At MyRDguide, our Pass Promise means we’re committed to supporting you until you pass. While our goal is for you to succeed on your first try, if you don’t, we’ll schedule a complimentary Post-Exam Reflection Session to review your experience and map out a revised study plan.
Choose Pro if you’re starting fresh and want structure + community. Choose Premium if you’ve taken the exam before or anyone who needs a different strategy, a customized plan, accountability, and targeted 1:1 coaching/support.
Yes. You can add private tutoring or upgrade to Premium; we’ll credit unused value where applicable.
In the private one-on-one sessions, your MyRDguide tutor will focus on developing and strengthening your critical thinking skills. By breaking down questions and teaching you how to identify keywords, you’ll learn to confidently select the best right answer.
No supplementary materials are needed when you enroll in any of the MyRDguide Programs (Basic, Pro, or Premium). However, many of our students also use the Pocket Prep Medical app for additional question practice, which we encourage for extra exposure to questions.
Absolutely! We strongly recommend that our students take one day off each week for self-care, as it’s crucial for maintaining balance and well-being.
Yes! We offer homework, quizzes, tables, and handouts that you can easily download from MyRDguide Teachable to complement the lectures. Each lecture includes a quiz, and we recommend using it as both a pre-quiz and a post-quiz to track your progress. You can take these quizzes as many times as you like.
While homework is optional, it is always encouraged. Students are not required to submit it, but many choose to send it to their tutor for feedback. We also love when students share weekly updates with their private tutor!

The Intensive Review is a structured, high-yield live review designed to reinforce key concepts, strengthen critical thinking, and help students confidently apply material across all RD exam domains.
The Intensive Review is included as part of our MyRDguide programs, so students must be enrolled in one of our programs at the time the Intensive Live Review starts to gain full access.
